A resurfaced interview with late skateboarder and actor Harold Hunter has reignited attention on Leonardo DiCaprio’s behavior in the 1990s and 2000s, particularly his involvement in the so-called “P***y Posse” and his allegedly controversial actions toward women during private parties.

The interview, originally conducted in 2002, brings scrutiny back on DiCaprio’s Hollywood reputation during the early years of his career. Hunter, known for his role in the 1995 film Kids, discussed DiCaprio’s behavior at parties, which he claims often involved coercing women into sleeping with him.

The ‘P***y Posse’ and Leonardo DiCaprio’s party culture

In the interview, Hunter describes private gatherings at DiCaprio’s house, where models and women were reportedly brought in for the enjoyment of the actor and his friends. Hunter recalled, “Leonardo DiCaprio, he’s a pretty cool guy, you know? I’d go to his house, and we’d have private parties. All these girls would come, all these models and shit would come, and we’d have so much fun… He loves ladies.”

He further alleged that DiCaprio would pressure women into engaging with his friends. “He’d be like, ‘Yo, go for my friend Harold.’ I’d be trying to flirt with a girl, and the girl won’t go for me. So Leo goes, ‘If you don’t go for Harold, I’m not gonna go for you,’” Hunter said, describing how DiCaprio’s manipulation often resulted in women “hooking up” with his friends under his influence.

DiCaprio’s representative responds

A representative for DiCaprio responded to the resurfacing of Hunter’s comments, stating that the actor’s behavior during the early stages of his career was in the past.

“Leo was at the start of his career at the time and has moved way past his partying. Leo is focused on his career and his relationship and is not at all thinking about Diddy’s federal case, which he has nothing to do with,” the representative clarified.

The ‘P***y Posse’ and its legacy

The “P***y Posse,” a group of actors including DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire, gained notoriety in the 1990s for their hedonistic and often misogynistic behavior. The group became infamous for their wild parties and alleged mistreatment of women, earning a reputation that has followed many of its members into their adult careers.

The resurfacing of Hunter’s interview adds fuel to the ongoing debate about DiCaprio’s role in Hollywood’s toxic party culture. The actor’s reputation has been marred by multiple allegations of inappropriate conduct, including one from journalist Nancy Jo Sales, who described receiving a voicemail from DiCaprio suggesting a quid pro quo for an interview. The voicemail humorously implied that Sales would need to “do something for him that Monica Lewinsky did for Bill Clinton” in exchange for an interview.

New revelations: Diddy and the 1990s “freak-off” parties

Further complicating matters are newly surfaced photos of Leonardo DiCaprio attending “freak-off” parties at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ East Hampton home in the late 1990s.

These events, which have come under fresh scrutiny following Diddy’s own legal troubles, are alleged to have involved coercion, blackmail, and drug use. Diddy, currently facing serious charges including sexual abuse, racketeering, and sex trafficking, is said to have hosted these controversial gatherings where young women were allegedly manipulated into participating.

As these allegations resurface, the legacy of DiCaprio’s early career is being reexamined, raising questions about the intersection of fame, power, and exploitation in Hollywood’s elite circles.
