“I need emotional depth,” says Tulisa

In a candid conversation on the show, Tulisa, whose full name is Tula Paulinea Contostavlos, explained her perspective on romantic and sexual relationships.
“I feel like I’m demisexual; I need to have a really close emotional bond with someone. I need actual depth,” she shared. Adding that her approach to relationships is a “slow burner,” she revealed, “I’ve been celibate for over three years.”

Dating makes her uncomfortable

Tulisa also disclosed her discomfort with traditional dating. “The thought of dating genuinely makes me feel physically sick,” she said, elaborating on her need for emotional connection over casual encounters. She emphasized, “For me, it’s all about the connection and the emotions that I feel with someone and then wanting to express them in that way.”
