The WWE Hall of Famer, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, passed away after suffering cardiac arrest, according to early reports. Gawker Publishes the Clip and Pays the Price

In October 2012, a two-minute snippet of the sex tape, including 10 seconds of explicit content, was published by Gawker. Hogan was “completely humiliated” and swiftly filed lawsuits against both the Clems and the publication. Bubba settled within two weeks.
