What was supposed to be a night of music and romance turned into a viral humiliation for Astronomer CEO Andy Byron after Coldplay’s infamous “kiss cam” appeared to catch him in a compromising position with a female colleague while thousands of concertgoers watched.

Frontman Chris Martin couldn’t resist commenting as footage showed Byron, the married CEO of billion-dollar software firm Astronomer, wrapped around his Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, before both scrambled to hide their faces. The moment, now spreading like wildfire online, has sparked accusations of infidelity and raised questions about workplace ethics.

What Happened at the Coldplay Concert?

During Wednesday night’s show at Gillette Stadium in Boston, Coldplay’s kiss cam—a concert tradition where couples are spotlighted and encouraged to share a peck—landed on Byron and Cabot. The screen showed them embracing intimately, prompting Martin to remark:

“Oh, look at these two.”

The pair immediately recoiled, with Byron ducking behind a barrier and Cabot covering her face in embarrassment. The crowd erupted in laughter as Martin quipped:

“Oh, what… either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
