CIA secretly explored mind-controlled animals for espionage and assassination

Much of the project’s documentation was deliberately destroyed, leaving gaps in the historical record. Funding was funneled through the Geschickter Fund for Medical Research, a seemingly benign organization later exposed as a CIA front.
