Arrest draws fresh attention to performer known for controversial sex record

Bonnie Blue, an adult entertainment performer and OnlyFans model who made global headlines for claiming to sleep with 1,057 men in 12 hours, has been arrested under circumstances that remain unclear. The news was confirmed by a family statement shared on her Instagram account on May 21.

A short video clip posted to the platform shows police officers frisking and questioning Blue, whose legal name is Tia Emma Billinger, alongside filmmaker Josh Lee Spooner. In the footage, she is seen leaning against a police car during the apparent confrontation.

Her sister later addressed the situation publicly, writing, “As you may have seen, Tia has been arrested.” She added that the family is still trying to understand the full situation.

“We still don’t have clarity on the situation, but will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know. Thanks for all of the support in the last 24 hours. This isn’t something we wanted to get out but it seems there is no privacy for her anymore,” the statement read. “Yours sincerely, Tia’s sister.”

Record-setting stunt placed Blue in global spotlight

Bonnie Blue rose to viral notoriety earlier this year after claiming to have broken a world record by engaging in sexual acts with 1,057 men over 12 hours. The feat was widely covered and immediately drew comparisons to the previous record set by adult film actress Lisa Sparks, who reportedly slept with 919 men in a single day back in 2004.

In a video released following her attempt, Bonnie Blue described the logistics of the event: “The room was absolutely full. Then we did groups of five, like one after the other of fives. I wanted to give people more time, so then it went down to one-on-ones.”

Feud with fellow performer adds controversy to the record

Following the headline-making stunt, Blue found herself at the center of a feud with fellow adult performer Lily Phillips. Phillips claimed she originally conceived the idea of breaking a mass sex record, asserting that Blue had taken the concept and passed it off as her own.

Blue denied the accusation, stating in an interview with Daily Mail that she was the one who initially proposed the idea. “I helped her out and invited her to do my Freshers content. I shared the idea with her, saying that I really wanted to do the world record,” she said. “Then she put it up on her socials that she’d like to do the world sex record.”

The rivalry stirred further debate around the boundaries of personal branding and intellectual ownership within the adult content industry.

Public and legal scrutiny intensifies

While the reasons behind Bonnie Blue’s recent arrest have not been officially disclosed, speculation is mounting online. Neither law enforcement nor her legal team has made public statements as of this writing.

Her arrest has reignited conversations around the lines between performance, personal rights, and legal responsibility in an era where shock-driven content increasingly blurs conventional norms.

For now, Blue’s future remains uncertain—but she appears once again to be at the center of a global conversation she helped create.
