Over the weekend, he provided updates signaling that the project was on track, assuring his audience that everything was “looking good” for Monday’s unveiling.
Grok 3 is set to debut with a live demonstration on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 8:00 PM PT (Tuesday, February 18, at 9:30 AM IST or 4:00 AM GMT). The chatbot will be accessible as a free AI assistant on Musk’s microblogging platform, X.com.
Its predecessor, Grok 2, was launched in August 2024, and the new iteration is expected to be three times faster. The release comes just weeks after DeepSeek introduced a free AI assistant that outperformed ChatGPT in Apple’s App Store rankings, adding further competition to the AI sector.
