Italian officials condemn Trump Jr.’s actions

Andrea Zanoni, an Italian environmentalist and politician, strongly criticized Trump Jr.’s actions, calling the killing of a protected bird a crime. According to Zanoni, Trump Jr. did not possess a valid hunting license and was operating within a conservation zone safeguarded by the European Union’s Birds Directive.

Zanoni has since filed a formal complaint with the judiciary, asserting that “Veneto and Italy are not the property of the USA.” Luana Zanella, a member of the Italian Parliament, has taken the matter further by requesting an official response from the Environment Ministry regarding the incident.
