Another post declared that January 20—the day of Trump’s inauguration—would be a “Day of Mourning for USA,” accompanied by a plea for “Bullets, please. Jesus! Save America.” In a further escalation, Atkins wrote, “I’ve been banned from X because I said I hope and pray someone kills him. We haven’t had an assassination in years.”

Arrest details

Atkins was apprehended at approximately 7:30 PM local time near his home in West Palm Beach. During the arrest, police discovered cocaine in his possession.
