Usha Vance, the wife of newly inaugurated Vice President JD Vance, has become a social media sensation after her candid moments with their children during Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20. Many viewers found her interactions with her kids to be refreshingly relatable, showcasing the challenges of parenting in a high-profile setting.

A family affair at the inauguration

As the Vance family attended various events surrounding the inauguration, their three children—seven-year-old twins Vivek and Ewan Blaine, and five-year-old Mirabel Rose—managed to steal the spotlight. The children arrived at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda dressed in matching blue suits, adding a touch of charm to the formal proceedings.

In one particularly endearing moment captured on camera, young Mirabel was seen sucking her thumb while being held by Usha as her father took the oath of office. The little girl’s fingers were adorned with Band-Aids, prompting many social media users to comment on how “sweet” she looked. Meanwhile, Ewan displayed some typical sibling antics by getting cranky and playfully scratching his parents’ heads during the ceremony.
