In a shocking development, Terryon Thomas, a 20-year-old social media personality known as “Mr. Prada,” has been formally indicted by a Louisiana grand jury on multiple serious charges, including first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, aggravated criminal damage to property, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The indictment follows the tragic death of 69-year-old Nicholas Abraham, a therapist based in Baton Rouge.

Details of the allegations

The body of Abraham was discovered in September 2024 in a remote area of Tangipahoa Parish, located just east of Baton Rouge. Authorities reported that Thomas was apprehended by Dallas police after allegedly fleeing Louisiana in Abraham’s vehicle. It is believed that the murder took place in Thomas’s apartment on Essen Lane, where Abraham was last seen alive.

The grand jury’s announcement on Thursday indicates that they found sufficient evidence to proceed to trial. If convicted of the most severe charges, Thomas could face the death penalty. Following Abraham’s disappearance, his body was found wrapped in a tarp alongside a highway. Investigators also discovered numerous sharp instruments and a significant amount of blood belonging to the victim during a search of Thomas’s residence.

Eyewitness accounts and investigation findings

Eyewitnesses reported seeing Thomas struggling to carry a blue tarp—later confirmed to contain Abraham’s body—up and down the stairs of his apartment complex before loading it into the victim’s vehicle. The cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and shoulders. Sheriff Gerald Sticker described the murder as a “very physical, very violent death.”

Abraham’s attorney expressed his shock at the incident, stating, “I’m absolutely devastated and completely surprised that something like that could have happened to a man who I believed to be so tender, so gentle, and have a servant’s heart.”
