Sacramento County Community Reels from Gruesome Family Violence

In a shocking incident that has devastated California’s Sacramento County community, a man has been arrested for allegedly committing an unthinkable act of violence against his infant son.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, Andrey Demskiy, 28, allegedly launched a violent assault at his home around 4 AM Friday. The incident began with attacks on his wife and mother-in-law, who managed to escape the residence and immediately contacted law enforcement.

Tragic discovery

“A short time later, Deputies learned that a one-year-old male child was inside the residence alone with Demskiy and that he had possibly injured the child after throwing him,” stated the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office in their official release. Concerned for the child’s safety, deputies decided to force entry into the home.

Upon entering, law enforcement faced continued resistance from Demskiy, who became “physically resistive” during the attempted detention. In a horrifying turn of events, deputies discovered the infant’s remains in the bedroom, where they ultimately apprehended the suspect.

Investigation and charges

Investigators have determined that after his wife and mother-in-law fled the residence, Demskiy allegedly used a knife to commit the brutal act against his son. The suspect has been transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail, where he awaits his first court appearance scheduled for December 24.
