Fox News host Emily Compagno stirred controversy during a segment on the network’s show Outnumbered, speculating that First Lady Jill Biden may have voted for President-elect Donald Trump in the recent election.

Compagno based her claim on alleged tensions between Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, coupled with symbolic cues like Jill’s choice of red attire.

Compagno highlighted long-standing rumors of animosity between the First Lady and Vice President Harris, saying, “We’ve been hearing since before this president was president that Jill Biden had a massive issue with Kamala Harris,” Compagno said. She added that Jill Biden has “carried a chip on her shoulder” about how her husband was treated during their political partnership with Harris.

The panel referenced a recent Daily Mail report that claimed the Bidens have been targeting perceived political adversaries as they prepare to leave office. The report suggested that Jill Biden has been a driving force behind these efforts, stating, “Between organizing this year’s White House Christmas decorations, staff holiday parties, and a string of final goodbyes, the president and First Lady Jill Biden have been quietly sharpening the metaphorical carving knives, with their sights set firmly on the one-time allies they perceive as having wronged them.”

Comparison to ‘Lady Macbeth’

Compagno drew a dramatic parallel to the Shakespearean character Lady Macbeth, implying that Jill Biden has played a decisive role in influencing her husband’s actions. “I don’t think he [Joe] would have declared for a second term,” Compagno stated. “And I think, given the volume and energy from her side, it was clear that the gas was coming from her.”

One of the most provocative elements of Compagno’s theory was her interpretation of Jill Biden’s wardrobe choices. “We saw all the wearing red. I do think she voted for Trump,” Compagno speculated, adding, “And I think she is gleeful that Kamala didn’t win, as is her husband.”

Polarizing allegations

The remarks have sparked significant debate, with critics questioning the basis of Compagno’s claims. The First Lady’s office has not responded to the comments, and no evidence has emerged to support the assertion that Jill Biden voted against her husband’s party.

This latest speculation adds another layer of intrigue to the complex dynamics within the Biden administration and its relationship with key political allies as the country braces for the transition to new leadership under President-elect Donald Trump.
