United employees and local volunteers collaborate to convert ordinary airport gates and maintenance hangars into enchanting North Pole landscapes, complete with twinkling lights, sparkling Christmas trees, and Santa himself.

Kate Gebo, United’s Executive Vice President of Human Resources, explained the airline’s motivation: “We’ve stocked up on de-icing fluid to fly from even more cities. United is honored to uplift children and their families through the joy of the holiday season.”
