Because educational and economic needs vary drastically between remote hill districts and urban centres, this targeted approach ensures specialised support for all demographics across Uttarakhand.

Unlocking Free Competitive Exam Coaching

To level the educational playing field, the state has proposed the highly anticipated Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026.

• Delivers free online coaching to 10,000 students in Classes 11 and 12 from their home districts.
• Prepares youth for Civil Services, Defence, Banking, Railways, and SSC exams.
• Covers crucial entrance tests including CAT, MAT, GATE, NET, and CSIR-NET.
• Supported by a dedicated ₹7 crore state budget allocation.

Boosting Local Entrepreneurship and Industry

To widen employment avenues and keep economic activity within local communities, the government is expanding business support through the Yuva Swarozgar Scheme and new infrastructure projects.

• Offers premier IIT/IIM skill training for aspiring entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30.
• Provides a massive 30% bank loan subsidy for setting up local ventures.
• Delivers targeted financial incentives for Agniveers, ex-servicemen, and youth from border villages.
• Establishes new Hill Industrial Parks in Chamoli, Pauri, and Almora to generate local jobs.

Beyond jobs and education, the state is investing in community values. The annual State Bal Veerta Award will honor children displaying extraordinary bravery during disasters, acknowledging their vital role in society.
