A 23-year-old Florida woman, Alexis Lorenze, is facing a life-threatening health crisis following a severe reaction to a vaccine administered at UCI Medical Center in Orange, California. Diagnosed with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) earlier this year, Lorenze is now fighting for her life as her condition rapidly worsens.

Vaccine and sudden deterioration

According to the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF), Lorenze received vaccines for tetanus, pneumococcal disease, and meningitis at UCI Medical Center as part of her treatment plan for PNH. However, within ten minutes of receiving the vaccines, her health took a dramatic turn for the worse. She reportedly experienced a series of severe symptoms, including temporary blindness, a locked jaw, and vomiting. Lorenze, who does not have health insurance in California, is now being transferred to a private hospital in Los Angeles for specialized care, according to a fundraiser aimed at covering her medical expenses.

Family and VSRF response

In response to Lorenze’s rapidly declining condition, the VSRF has dispatched a medical team, including Registered Nurse Angela Wulbrecht and a group of trusted doctors, to assist with her care.

The foundation is actively monitoring the situation as her health continues to deteriorate. Lorenze has been using TikTok to document her medical journey, sharing disturbing images and videos that highlight the severity of her condition. These visuals show her swollen eyes and forehead, severe black and purple bruises covering her face and body, and inflamed red skin. Underlying health conditions and allegations

Before receiving the vaccines, Lorenze was being treated for PNH, a rare blood disorder. She had already undergone a blood transfusion, which initially appeared to offer some relief.
