According to her former boyfriend, Jure Zorcic, Melania’s ambitions initially centered on a glamorous European lifestyle, rather than the American dream.

Melania’s early vision: Europe, not America

In an interview with ABC News, Zorcic revealed that Melania, who was then an aspiring model, envisioned her future in Italy or France, countries renowned for their high fashion and luxury.

“She wanted to live abroad, in Italy or France, a life of fashion,” Zorcic recalled. “She never mentioned moving to the United States. I think it was very far from our minds at that time.”
