What Ray J said in his livestream

Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Ray J is making headlines again after leveling new accusations against the reality star and her mother, Kris Jenner, during a livestream on X (formerly Twitter).

In a conversation with rapper Chrisean Rock, Ray J claimed he was working with federal authorities to build a case against Kardashian and Jenner.

“The federal RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) I’m about to drop on Kris and Kim is about to be crazy,” Ray J said in the livestream. “Anybody that is cool with Kim, they need to tell her now, the feds is coming. There’s nothing I can do about it. It’s worse than Diddy.”

Ray J, who dated Kardashian between 2003 and 2006, did not provide evidence or additional details to back up his remarks. Neither Kardashian nor Jenner has responded publicly, and no law enforcement agency has announced an investigation into the family.

Why his claims are raising eyebrows

The bold allegations sparked immediate skepticism online. Critics pointed out that individuals cooperating with authorities typically do not publicize their involvement.

“People who are helping the feds during an active investigation don’t announce it to the world. He’s full of it,” one X user commented.

Others speculated about the impact of the claims:

• “Ray J dropping bombs… is this the end of the Kardashian empire?”
• “2025 will be one for the books if we see Diddy and the Kardashians going to jail.”

The reference to Sean “Diddy” Combs comes amid the music mogul’s ongoing legal troubles. Ray J has previously linked Kardashian to the concept of racketeering, suggesting in a 2024 AppleTV+ documentary (TMZ Presents: United States V. Sean Combs: Inside the Diddy Trial) that he “might believe” such charges if they were ever brought.

No evidence to support allegations

At present, Ray J’s claims remain unsubstantiated. Legal experts note that accusations of racketeering are serious, but without filings or official confirmation, they amount to speculation.

The Kardashians, meanwhile, have faced scrutiny and controversy throughout their careers but have not been linked to criminal charges.

What’s next

Parade and other outlets have reached out to Kardashian’s representatives for comment, but none have been made public as of Thursday. It remains unclear whether Ray J plans to elaborate on his remarks or if the claims will fade as another chapter in his long-running, complicated relationship with the Kardashian family.

TL;DR

Ray J, Kim Kardashian’s ex, claimed in a livestream that he’s helping the feds build a racketeering case against Kardashian and Kris Jenner, comparing it to Diddy’s legal troubles. He offered no proof, and no investigation has been confirmed.
